I hope you all had a great summer and are now ready to study English again. A new school year has just begun and I would like to welcome you to the EOI Torre-Pacheco and to B2.2.
My name is Sergio, and if you are reading this is because you are going to be a student of mine this year. In this blog you will find general resources and specific extra material for the contents seen in class throughout the year, along with any other relevant information that may be of your interest for the course.
Remember that B2.2 is a very demanding course, so in order to benefit from the course you must:
1. come to class regularly.
2. be active in class.
3. ask any doubts you may have.
4. do you homework and study at home regularly.
5. practise your English inside and outside the class, whenever possible.
Here are some tips in order to achieve it:
- If you have the chance, try to practise your English with a native speaker: you could try to arrange some kind of language exchange. Talk to other classmates who have done this before and exchange impressions about the experience.
- Read and listen as much as you can, it is never enough! When you read and listen to English try to pay attention to the vocabulary and structures you know and try to spot new expressions for you to learn.
- Be persistent, work hard and have fun while learning!
